“I wanna marry you because you’re the first person I wanna look at when I wake up in the morning, and the only one I wanna kiss goodnight. Because the first time that I saw these hands, I couldn’t imagine not being able to hold them.”
Definitely, Maybe
The 2020 Wedding Season started off incredibly early this year with three weddings in January and two in February. Unfortunately, that momentum was not destined to carry through. It was a year of juggling dates, changing plans, and learning on the fly. The backyard wedding was very much a thing and smaller weddings were dominating our schedule even before Covid burst into our lives.
Despite a large number of postponements, 2020 still brought us 21 weddings. Most of them were not what the couple originally planned for but they were all full of love and happiness. The smaller number of guests allowed for more intimate and personal experiences and we often found ourselves in locations that we were unfamiliar with.
As we say every year, we wouldn’t be able to live this life that we love so much without the wonderful people who support us and trust us to be a part of their big days. In a year where our couples were faced with an unprecedented amount of stress and pressure, they all showed an amazing amount of patience and humility. Thank you all soooooo much for being amazing and here’s to 2021 being the next best year of our lives!
