Chicago engagement sessions are some of my favorite sessions to photograph. There is something about being in the city with the sun setting behind the buildings that is so romantic! Not to mention, the golden light is always amazing! We met Sarah and Reid at North Avenue Beach in Lincoln Park, and I couldn’t have been happier. These two love Chicago, and live here, so it was only fitting to have their engagement pictures here as well. That, mixed with the late Spring that we have had in the Midwest made the beach the perfect spot.
The best part about this session wasn’t the location though. It was Sarah and Reid themselves. These two have the most contagious laughs and smiles! Not to mention, they didn’t even need to ease into the session. Straight off models from the start! We explored a bit of the area, and they shared some champagne in the sand. It was an incredible time and we truly enjoyed getting to know them!
