Chicago is my favorite city to photograph in. The colors are always spectacular, and that skyline never gets old. Plus, there is so much character everywhere you look!
We met Michelle and Omar in Chicago on a Saturday night for their engagement session, and while we had a few hiccups with the weather and locations it ended up perfect anyway! The forecast had called for no rain all week, but once we get into the city the chances went up to a small 20%. That 20% was enough for it to rain for the entire first half of Michelle and Omar’s session! I love how these two handled it though, and they didn’t let it stop them!
Not only did the weather give us a little trouble, but both locations that they picked ended up being closed! The Art Institute of Chicago had to close early because of a broken air conditioner, and Olive Park is closed for the rest of the year! This is what I love about Chicago though, there are amazing spots no matter where you are in the city.
Even with all of that, we still ended with a stunning sunset overlooking the city and so many incredible pictures! Michelle and Omar are so wonderful, and how they handled these hiccups says so much about how incredible they really are!
