On the first Saturday in August, Ashley and Mitch had the most amazing wedding day. We started the morning off in Stevens Point, the sun shining and the temperature just about perfect. With so many beautiful details, I spent the first small part of the morning capturing Ashley’s jewelry, shoes, flowers, dress, and other details. The gorgeous blush pink and gold color pallet is one of my favorites, and it fits in so well with the touches of eucalyptus in Ashley’s bouquets.
Once the girls’s were ready, we headed on over to St. Stephen’s Church in downtown Stevens Point, where Ashley and Mitch had their first look in a courtyard surrounded by amazing architecture and greenery, before they said their “I Do’s”. Not only are first looks perfect for the bride and groom to see each other in a more intimate setting, it really helps quiet the nerves before the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, we made a trip to one of my favorite parks in the Stevens Point area, Iverson Park. With so many locations within the park for pictures, I never get tired of this place! On such a beautiful day, it was no surprise that the park was packed with people, but we found our own little corner and came away with tons of pictures.
Ashley and Mitch’s day ended at their reception in Waupaca, at the Waupaca Ale House, surrounded by all of their friends and family. Their day was incredible, and it was such an honor for us to capture it for them!
