We had an incredible weekend, kicking off on Friday with Alma and Joaquin. These two chose Allen Centennial Gardens in downtown Madison for their ceremony, and the Fields Reserve in Stoughton for their reception. It was so much fun!
Starting at the beginning, Alma and Joaquin first met in high school. They quickly became good friends over the years, and don’t really know when they officially started dating. What they do know is that when they made it official, they both were already in love.
Allen Centennial Gardens was an easy choice for their ceremony. Back when they started their relationship, they often took late night walks under the stars through the gardens. Later, they built their home in Stoughton, where they landed on the Fields Reserve for their reception. Every part of their day is a part of their story.
What I love most about the days was how they honored their Mexican culture and traditions closely throughout the day. From the mariachi music at the ceremony and reception, to the food and late-night snacks that reminded them of their childhood, to the family gifts during their ceremony, the traditional dances, and so much more. It was so special and so much fun.
