We say it often but we truly have been lucky when it comes to the couples who have chosen us to be with them on their wedding day. The love and kindness that they all share with each other and their families is so easy to photograph. It makes the drive to Chicago or Dubuque or Winona that much more enjoyable when we know we get to work with amazing people once we arrive.
There were so many pictures that made us smile as we tried to pick out our favorites from each of the weddings we photographed in 2016. Every wedding had moments that have stuck with us like a father crying as he watches his baby girl walk down the aisle or a grandma beaming with pride as the little boy who used to help her bake spins his bride around the dance floor. These moments make us wonder how we could be so lucky as to call this our profession.
In the Wedding Photography world, it is so important to have a network of people who believe in you and support you as you try to build your business. Even as we get more established, so much of our business still comes from referrals and word of mouth. We couldn’t be living this adventure without the support of our friends, family, and past clients and are so incredibly grateful for their willingness to advocate for Larissa Marie Photography.
