One of my favorite things about weddings is shooting somewhere new. There are so many amazing venues in every state, that it’s not uncommon for us to shoot somewhere new more often than not. While some may find this as a challenge, we actually thrive in new locations we have never been to. There is so much inspiration!
Kora and Nick’s wedding day took place in Lake Geneva, with their reception at The Riviera Ballroom, which had us falling in love pretty quick! When talking with Kora, she described her wedding vision as modern rustic with a touch of elegance. She carefully chose flowers that would be in bloom in the Spring time in Wisconsin, and then paired them with colors of Sage Green, Navy, Ivory/Soft Burlap and Soft Peach/Pink Rose from the flower accents. I absolutely loved how Kora chose a gorgeous lace jacket to wear over her dress for the morning, and removed it and added a belt for the afternoon. Such a romantic look and a great way to make her wedding dress her own!
The day was full of warmth, love and so much happiness. I can’t wait to share all of their images with them!
