Weddings are beautiful. They are filled with beautiful details, take place in beautiful locations, and make for a beautiful celebration. Weddings are not the beauty in what we do however. The beauty in what we do comes from the people we work with. It comes from the unique qualities of each couple that we are lucky enough to photograph and it comes from the places and things that matter most to them. Engagement Photography is our window. We get to meet our couples in locations that resonate with them and their relationship and we get a glimpse of who they are. That is special and we are incredibly grateful for it.
2018 had us exploring so many different locations. We got to spend time in Chicago, were introduced to the beautiful Millwork District in Dubuque, finally got to shoot a session in Galena, and even made a return trip to our favorite city Charleston. Those were just the out of state trips!!! We spent a lot of time in Milwaukee, made a couple trips to La Crosse, went north to Green Bay and The Fox Valley, wandered around some incredible family farms, and of course spent plenty of time in and around Madison. It was another year full of love and adventure. We couldn’t ask for anything more!!
